Alex has worked all over the world including Kenya, Spain, Germany, Wales and even Mansfield!

Belfield has worked in commercial radio across the UK @ Capital Gold, Century 106, Mercia FM, Mansfield FM & Touch FM.
Since 2000 Belfield has continually worked for the BBC at stations including; BBC Radio 2, BBC 5 Live, BBC Radio Leeds, BBC WM and 30 others across the UK.
Alex has appeared on the TV @ BBC Breakfast, BBC Look North, BBC World and BBC News. Belfield also appeared on Crimewatch in 1976…..but that’s another story!

Belfield is a unique personality radio presenter who is a comedian, entertainer, interviewer and journalist. He can cope with any eventuality on the air.
Alex is best known for his irreverent interaction with his “punters”. Belfield loves to tease the audience and make sure they join in throughout the show. Alex is a musician by trade and adores music, he is passionate about the music he plays on air.
In 2010/11 Belfield went back to the Beeb full time and added 42,000 new listeners in the first 6 months @ BBC Radio Leeds. This was the highest figures for the station in over 6 years.
Alex built the highest peak of the day at 9am attracting a staggering 50,000 listeners according to Rajar.
Since Alex’s departure BBC Leeds have lost a depressing 700,000+ listenening hours and now have their worst figures in the stations history. They’ve gone from 18% reach to 12% reach. Whoopsy.
Belfield is best known for his Celebrity interviews. He’s done almost everyone over the last 17 years and you can hear 100′s of top interviews with Royalty, movie Stars and his favourite comedians and performers.

Belfield’s most high profile interview was the last interview with Jimmy Savile. This interview appeared in full on BBC Radio 2 on Christmas day in 2011 and as a 2 page spread in the Sun Newspaper (twice) and the Daily Mirror.

Belfield has travelled the world with ‘Alex Belfield Productions’ recording programmes for radio stations around the world from Broadway, Vegas, Paris, Egypt, Canada and many more.
Alex is one of the only talents in British radio to set up, produce, present & edit his own material and put all material online for the world to hear @ www.celebrityradio.co.uk. Last year the website attracted just under 3 million unique page hits.
Over the years Belfield has performed 100′s of Live charity shows. He’ll do anything for charity (within reason) and in 2011 he helped raise nearly £200,000 in Yorkshire for BBC Children In Need:
