This is not only Nottingham and the UK’s greatest restaurant but it’s one of the worlds most unique and delicious eateries.
In 2011 Sat Bains was awarded the rare accolade of 2 Michelin Stars…and very much deserved it is too!
The service and food is sublime! It’s located just off the A453 on the way into the centre of Nottingham. Unlike many top chefs, Bains remains loyal to the regions and forces Londoners to take the two hour trip up the M1 to enjoy his divine cuisine! A trip very much worth the effort.
The restaurant has two incredibly beautifully decorated rooms. The epitome of opulence although they can be a little noisy with passing traffic. Don’t be put off though, the breakfast itself is worth a visit!
This is Alex’s second favourite restaurant in the world! “It’s just incredible, the food is incomparable, the service is delightful and the room is tremendous….you haven’t lived until you’ve eaten at Sat Bains!”
